Confess & Repent

     Here's the thing:  people need to confess and repent. Don't let your sins have an iron-grip on your heart. Just ask God to take it away. Don't just admit you're a sinner. Truly let God know that you want him to wash your sins away. Ya just gotta let go and let God. Legit. Just confess your sins to God and move away from that lifestyle. Sin is sin. Don't be unwilling to call it that either. You need to get right before you get left.

     Dear God, Please help me to let it go for you. I know I need to repent God. I just struggle with telling you all of my sins. Help me to just surrender all to you. It's so hard God. Please forgive me for everything.

     ~ 1 John 1:9 = If we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Forgivness

So, forgiveness. It is defined as "to pardon sin." Well, God's got forgiveness down. Why do I, as a Christian, have so many problems with it? I try so hard to forgive people, but it's just so hard. I've been praying that I learn how to forgive. I've just been hurt so much by myself and others that it's just so hard. So here we go:

Dear God. Please show me how to forgive. There are so many people in my life that love me and who I love. Some of those people have hurt me. I need to forgive them and myself. Show me how, God. Show me how...

So, now I find myself thinking. Thinking that I need to forgive some people. I'll do whatever it takes.

Mark 11:25 says, "When you stand to pray, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him. Then your Father in Heaven will forgive your sins also."
